Vehicle description
Skoolie RV School Bus Conversion Tiny House. Condition is Used.
260 s.f. of living space including lots of storage – under the couch & master bed, overhead, kitchen cabinets, closet, etc
• registered as an RV with the DMV, so no special CDL license required to drive it
• Four 110W solar panels + 2000v Inverter and Rover100A solar package from Renogy – enough power to run interior lighting, fridge, water heater, toilet fan, room fans, computer chargers and more if you can figure it out
• propane tank mounted underneath the bus with double tank to power full-sized propane range/cooktop and water heater
• two 40-gallon water tanks – easily 2 weeks worth of water without refilling – also includes shore water hookup for campsite parking
• water pump for hot and cold running water to shower and kitchen sink
• tankless water heater
• shower with overhead skylight
• Nature’s Head composting toilet (costs $1000 alone!)
• gray water tank mounted underneath the bus
• shore power outlet and connecting cords for plugging in at home or for campsite parking
• living room skylight for added natural light
• screens and curtains on all the windows
• rainbow privacy film on bathroom window
• USB outlets spaced throughout the bus
• apartment-sized full refrigerator
• power line available for mini AC unit, but it has not been installed yet
• Mattresses not included.
Sticky Issues:
• the gas gage is not reliable, so frequent filling is recommended when driving long distances.
• the solar power is not working at the moment and I haven’t had someone look at it. I am selling it as is and hopefully you can find someone to tinker with it. All the electrical systems work just fine when plugged in to shore power. I will include all the cords for that.
Friends have been living in it for the last month and have LOVED it! If you have land or a large yard you could easily rent this out on Airbnb and make the $$ back fast. I am selling so that I can downsize to a van as I found it was a little too much for me to drive alone. I put $50K into it and have reduced the price to make up for the solar not working.
