Vehicle description

97 Ford Bluebird purchased originally from a Kansas school district.176k original miles. Oil changed 1,500 miles ago using RotellaBackup camera Alison 4 speed automatic transmission 12 valve 5.9 Cummins Diesel runs somewhere between 10 to 12 mpg.540 Allison 4 speed automatic (upgrade over the Ford equivalent of the time)2500 watt inverter (needs reset) and three marine batteries(a 500 watt solar set up was the next intended upgrade and would make a great addition!)Tankless water heaterAC unit (on top) works greatMulti-Directional TV antenna and booster (brings in a ton of local broadcasts)32 inch LG flat screen.Upgraded stereo system30-ft chassisQueen-size bedShower toilet / comboPlenty of extra storage optionsNice and roomy - I stand up just fine with plenty of clearance and I"m 5"10.Easy to level with boards and levelsExcellent tread on all of the new 22.5" tires - Approximately 5,000 mi on them. The original factory tires and wheels were 20" so that improvement gives thistraveling tiny home a more attractive appearance than a stodgy old school bus would.Engine compartment clean! No leaks! This puppy starts IMMEDIATELY and runs flawlessly.Likes to run at about 65 mph top speed. Can easily attach to the exposed frame to have a hitch welded on the back for towing, toys, etc.Upgraded door with a deadbolt won"t leak and doesn"t come open while drivingWindows are all working - great for cross-ventilationInterior paint is in good shapeCherry wood colored paneling. A cherry colored marker will go a LONG way on any imperfections.Mini-fridge. A medium or full-size could be fit if you do any carpentry. There"s plenty of room.Microwave.Carpet could be steam cleaned (about $45? for a rental), used as-is or easily replaced.Nice lighting switches and lights. Gets nice and well lit.I have been hearing of a lot of people using rv"s more and more as a bug-out camper if things get bad.In all reality, this thing is super sturdy, built for MANY more years. AND, to be able to LIVE in a placelike this that is mobile, how do you beat that? This would be waaaaay more comfortable than being homeless if you thought you were going to lose your job. I"ve seen some of these with matte black finish and you couldgo that direction, leave it as-is, or paint to match your trailer. There are a lot of options and it certainly doesn"t needto be painted any time soon.
