About the House
Foundation Your new home is built on a 14,000 lb with dual drop axles rated at 7000 each. Frame is powder coated for maximum protection from the elements. Framing Started by welding 5/8" diameter rods as hold downs in 8 lo cations. These rods continued continuously to the top plate of the wall then a 14" long plate installed with a nut tightening the framing securely to the trailer. (Further details available upon request.) Insulation This is where we separate the men from the boys. We felt that having closed cell insulation sprayed in all of the walls and the entire floor area. would provide many advantages. A few are for maximum insulation benefits, impermeable to moisture penetration, adds structural reinforcement, provides sound dampening, seals every small crack to stop cold drafts and helps prevent those crawling insects, and last over the lifetime of the home. Wall Finishes. Interior Walls are 1/2" drywall screwed to framing. Moisture resistant drywall used in areas of moisture possibilities. Ceiling is 1" x 6" ship lap pine planks finished nailed to framing as needed. Trim and railing members are made of pine or hemlock. Walls painted two coats of latex. Natural wood finished with semi gloss polyurethane. Exterior Install perimeter flashing from the framing to overlap the trailer. installed Tyvek house wrap. Installed 5/8" thick premium T 1-11 siding. Siding fastened with screws to framing. Trim is factory primed white wood, siding and trim were given with two top coats of premium latex paint applied after thoroughly caulking all seams. Roofing. All metal roof panels and perimeter flashing with factory applied coating for many years of protection. Heating & Cooling Highly efficient ductless system offering endless climate control to your new living area. Remote controlled. Appliances 24" propane gas range. 12 gallon water heater works on propane or electric. Electrical 50 amp electrical panel Ceiling fan with light centered for maximum air distribution. Plenty of outlets throughout.
