PLEASE NOTE- I prefer to let auctions run to completion but I have listed this a few times and have had offers that would buy it, but those folks did not perform. So please, make offers, don"t be shy, I can maybe say yes, maybe say no, but please be prepared to close the deal if I accept your offer! Thanks!8
Royale RP24. Fully Restored and ready to go testing. Zero time on chassis and engine minor test running around the shop.
Needs whatever tires you use, will come with rock hard Goodyear slicks! Can can run in most vintage groups as a Formula Ford Club Ford or VIntage Ford. Not sure if the roll bar meets modern SCCA specs, but we can make it SCCA legal, with a logbook, for a small additional cost.
Every component and system is either new or refurbished. Sadly, no log books or ID plates, but known history of the car available here:
http:/ www.apexspeed.com/forums/show. .ld-Royale-RP24
The engine is a fresh rebuild of a Joe Stimola build and runs great. The gearbox and some of the initial work was done by DnD Fabrication in Washington State and then the car was beautifully completed by Frank Rescinitti in Atlanta.
These are great handling, very rare and unique Formula Fords, you will stand out among the sea of Crossles and Van Diemans! There is room for a big guy, I am 6 feet and over 230 and I can drive it. .no one my size is ever going to be anything but cramped in a Formula Ford, but its more roomy than most.
I hate to sell this, its was such a long and rewarding project, but I only have some much time and shop space, so some things have to be let go.
(Note, windscreen is not shown in pictures, but is on the car now)
