Vehicle description
Revolution mini 500 turbine helicopter . This helicopter has a 115HP T-62 turbine powerplant. This was a professional built mini 500 helicopter . Has a world class paint job. Only 44hrs total time on this helicopter. Comes with technical drawings of the turbine as well as blade balancing instruction and a micro balancer. Original assembly manuals and operation manuals for this helicopter are included. There is also a start up procedure sheet for turbine. Blades will need to be balanced before any flight due to removal and transport of helicopter and blades multiple times. Helicopter has been in a collection for a long period of time not flying, we are selling it as a non airworthy aircraft for those reasons. It will be your responsibility to register and have a professional verify its ready for safe flight. Last flown around 2010 before going on display.
We are listing this helicopter like this for liability but when you see aircraft it is in close to showroom condition.
People have asked what the non painted part of the frame by the alternator is . This is where they upgraded the alternator to a larger size and welded another bracket to hold the new larger alternator obviously after the frame was painted. The weld was done professionally. Its an amazing show piece of engineering and beauty .
This helicopter can be transported on a 12" trailer. We would take off blades and tail for transport. Main rotor blades have rotor bags to keep them protected while being transported. I also have a rotor box for blades as well. These helicopters transport very easily and gets all the attention on the road. This helicopter has wheels to move helicopter around easily by hand and to load onto trailer. I have talked to the original builder of the aircraft he said it only has a few more hours on it since he finished building it. He said the person that commissioned it to be built wanted this to have all the bells and whistles. We had 3 of these helicopters for sale the last two were bought by the same person and it costs them $7000 to ship from NH to CA if anyone was wondering shipping costs across country. But that was taking up an entire tractor trailer bed with 2 helicopters and 5 large crates. This helicopter is awesome you will probably never see another one like it.
So this helicopter has had a lot of winning bidders in the past. Not one of them has ever seen the helicopter and not one of them ever paid for the auction. So don"t bid if you don"t plan on buying it. It is such a waste of time.
Payment buy bank transfer 3 days after auction end. You will have 30 days to pick up aircraft after payment has been made
