Vehicle description
Testing the waters. Looking to see offers, current project (still functional). This is a very cool and very rare fiberglass camper similar to a Scamp or 80s uHaul pull-behind.
This style camper is very hard to find on East Coast. I am the 3rd owner, purchased from a Geologist from AZ that would use this in the National Park Systems in Arizona and New Mexico. This camper is made in the US (Washington State) and is a solid piece of equipment. Lived most of its life on the West Coast, so no rotting issues or rust.Fiberglass shell, very light can be pulled with small car, weighs about 1200lbs. Can be easily pulled with a 2.3L 4 cylinder Honda! No floor rot, no smells, bones are great. New leaf springs in 2008. I installed new floor ($200), deep cycle battery ($300), cushions ($600), LED lighting. Sleeps 2 comfortably. My GF and I camped 3x with it last summer.
My goal is to fully restore and turn into a little AirBNB or rental for friends and family. Fully functional as-is and ready to go.I have a lot into this and when fully restored people ask 8-10k. Vintage style, sleeps 2 comfortably. Needs some work still to restore to full beauty (Painting, customization). If I can not get close to asking price will continue restoration myself. Lots of extras - spare tire, will include AC unit. No bathroom, just kitchen / sink.
Measurements as follows: 12’9” length total w/ neck 9’6” length of camper body 6’3” width Bed 6’3”l, 5’6”w, folds into 2 couches Interior height @ kitchen (popup part) 6"2"
36” hitch (neck) sits 13” high off the ground
Prefer local pickup or can meet someone halfway / deliver for a fee.Clear PA title in my name. Costs about $125 a year to insure. Would possibly consider restoration work for free use / rental.
