I am selling my Radical RXC Spyder. This is the one with 650bhp from a twin-turbocharged and intercooled Ford EcoBoost V6 3500cc . This is the same motor package in the new Ford GT. I bought the car about 1 ½ years ago from a wealthy friend of mine that was 80 years old. When the car was new the price was in the high $200k range creeping up close to $300k. The car was used as a look at me track day car on only a few occasions and not competitively raced. The reason my friend sold me the car was because it was too fast for him and with a 0 – 60mph in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph I could see why. I am a couple years younger than my friend and with the nerves of a Roman warrior so I thought the car would be perfect for me. Oh was I Naïve. I have driven what I thought was fast cars in my life, but nothing like this! When in race mode and under acceleration my body was pushed so hard in the seat I felt like a piece of dough being transformed into a pizza crust. On high speed turns the G – force was so hard I could feel my brains coming out of my helmet and leaking into my racing helmet. I will not get into what it did to my racing suit and flame retardant underwear. So…after a couple outings in the car I have decided to sell it. This was a very hard decision because I love owning this piece of art, but I also know I have passed my prime for driving such a car. This car has all the bells and whistles you could ask for and is as clean as it was the day it left the factory. The car has only 99 hours of run time and a great portion of that was warming it up and just low speed driving. I believe this is the nicest and cleanest Radical RXC you could ever hope for. This is not a beat down old race car. The car is located and housed indoors at Willow Spring International Raceway in Rosamond California just a few short minutes north of Los Angeles.
