2007 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car
VIN: WP0ZZZ99ZGS798040
This is a Porsche factory GT3 race car. It has a 3.6 liter Metzger race engine mated to a 6-speed sequential racing transmission. These cars were built by Porsche Motorsports to race in Porsche Cup and other professional racing series. This car was raced professionally until it was sold to private race teams. The current owner purchased it from a team that ran it in the Patron IMSA series and, has had it for two years. During the last two years, it has been fully professionally maintained and serviced. It has just had the engine rebuilt along with the transmission, with less than two hours on them in testing. It comes with an extensive spares package listed below.
The engine was just rebuilt by Vision Motorsports in Laguna California. The rebuild invoice is included with the sale. The Engine received new pistons and cylinders, bearings. It also got welded on coolant pipes for extra safety. The engine service cost $16457.00 Engine was finished in July of 2017
Transmission was rebuilt by Copans. All new bearings, syncros. 2 nd ,3 rd , and 4 th gears were replaced. The total cost was $12370.00. This repair was done on 6/16.
The car also received a thorough inspection and set up by Bavarian Performance is California. All service items such as brakes, wheel bearings, and suspension wear items were inspected or replace (many replaced). One of the major items was new MCS 3way coil overs were just installed. All the Glass was replaced with new plexi and factory glass windshield. It has a Fuel Safe fuel cell with dual enduro dry breaks, and access through hood for quick pit stops. The date of the fuel cell is unknown. Porsche Motorsport carbon battery box relocation kit. These cars come with full air jacks as well. Matthaney Throttle Blipper for perfectly matched down shifts. This GT3 has not been modified or upgraded outside of PCA or GT2 rules. They are very competitive and great to drive. I have owned several, happy to answer any questions.
It comes with two sets of wheels that are ready to go, with a new set of sticker Michelin tires mounted.
It has Full pro-Motec unlocked with Brake sensors and shift lights
