1972 Porsche 911 "RSR Tribute". This car was rebuilt in 2007 by Wright Motorsports and used for DE track events. It"s ready to race. The car was completely disassembled, a new roll cage was installed, new fiberglass RSR wide body panels, new wiring, and the motor and gearbox were rebuilt. It has been used exclusively for DE events since then. A log book complete with hours, repairs, etc. is available. There are a total of 64 hours on the car since the restoration in 2007. It is a 1972 body with the original right side oil tank. It has an RSR wide body kit, with a full race cage, a Fuel Safe PC115-06 15 gallon fuel cell, and Riccaro seats. There is also a camera mount on the roll bar and a Stealth GPS lap timer. The car weighs 2308 lbs with 300 horsepower (estimated at the engine ). Front and rear suspension, Brakes, etc. see photos. Brake pads are Carbon Metallic race pads, custom front rotors and adjustable bias control on the dash. Tires are 25.5x12.5 R16 Hoosier 43671 radial racing slicks on the rear and 23.5x11.0 R16 Hoosier 43655 radial racing slicks on the front. The engine is a 3.6 liter 964 engine from 1992 911 Carrera with a racing cam. The bottom end was rebuilt and reassembled by Engine Builders Supply, including a 996 GT3RS upgraded oil pump, and Pauter lightweight connecting rods, coated Clevite race bearings. New ARP head studs, new timing chains, chain tensioners, and rocker arms, etc were also installed. The motor has 8 hours on it since the last rebuild. Recent leakdown test results included in photos, done at 75 psi cold engine. The 915 gearbox, and differential have been refreshed, including a new 10.5 lb. aluminum pressure plate and dual friction disc clutch plate, release bearing, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear synchronizers, and input shaft bearings. There are 20 hours on the gearbox/ differential rebuilds. Spares include a complete new set of Slicks, 2 new front rotors, new brake pads, new rear wheel bearing, new oil filters (several), new valve cover gaskets, miscellaneous used transmission parts, rocker arms, oil pump, and others. This car is being sold as is. No warranty. No returns. All serious offers will be considered. Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for all shipping and transportation details.
