2002 Pontiac Trams Am Drag Car Bought the car new and with only 37K the original owner contracted Mp Motorsports to set up and build this car for drag racing. The LS1 motor is near stock except for the SD tune, 85 MM Throttle body,chromemoly push rods and beehive value springs with Harlan Sharp 1.8 rockers. Custom Ram Air with light weight fiberglass hood (13 lbs). QTP LT headers with X pipe to full flow mufflers dumped before axle. New AEM AEM Electronics Wideband Air/Fuel UEGO Gauge Kit New 150 HP NX Wet system Nitrous(only used 2x). Hughes Turbo 400 with manual reverse valve body, large oil pan and cooler with transmission brake. Hughes 4K stall race converter. Line Lock. Line lock and transmission brake on quick release steering wheel with trans and lock buttons. Has a contender electric solenoid shifter (can be shifted manually also) linked to a RPM module, with quick change with full set of shift pills. Biondo digital two stage timer and deadenbaer delay box. Special built Strange 12 bolt race rear end with 33 spline axles, 3.73 gears with full spool. Hoosier slicks and skinnies up front Bogart alum light weight front and rear wheels. BMR adjustable torque arm and rear drag race traction bar. QA1 double adjustable shocks on all four corner’s with 275 lb springs up front Strange light weight alum disc brakes on all four. This car has gone through a major weight reduction and has a race seat installed with 5 point belts and weighs in at 2975 lbs without driver. NHRA chromemoly 8 point rollcage by Chris Alston. Best run with 100 Shot is 10.42 at 129 MPH,all dialed in with the wideband Fastest time on the car W/O NOSis 11.19 with a sixty foot of 1.41 at Infineon raceway. This car is in absolute perfect condition with only a little over 110 runs on it.
