1972 Duster drag car. Located 44512. For sale locally so if reserve is not met then could be sold locally at anytime. 1969 440 - .60 over, steel heads hogged out, 6 pack rods, domed pistons, Howards 600/600 full roller cam, Roller rockers, crank internally balanced, MSD ignition, PowerMaster alternator, Holly Dominator 1150 CFM carb. Tranzact of Indy Torqueflite trans with transbrake. Wilwood master cylinder. Champion rear beadlock wheels. MT slicks. 8-3/4" Dana rear with full spool 4.56 gears. Original car owner had run nutritious but i bought the car as a roller and have never put spray on this motor. Phantom II gauges and tack with shift light, Hurst Quarter Stick reverse valve body shifter. New Dedenbear delay box. Hurst roll control with new Biondo replacement. 4 wheel disks. Extra Centerline rear wheels. Has V6 torsion bars in the car comes with the V8 ones. Shakedown front and rear Lexan windows. Glasstek one piece front clip. Motor has roughly 100 passes and trans about 75. Rear slicks have at least 3/4 life left. This is not a show car. On the line from 10" away it looks great, has normal dings, dents, and scratches. Roll cage is not certified and not needed over 9.99 ET. Car has passed safety inspection at every track including 2 PDRA races and a few IHRA tracks. Selling due to racing a dragster now and kids aren"t old enough. Quick fluid check and your ready to run. Rear brake calipers did slightly rub inside of rims but has never caused a problem since its been run about 45 passes since. Brake system should be bled again as the pedal is soft, almost all lines have been replaced. Buyer is responsible to look at car in person as i have tried to point out any flaws.
