Vehicle description
Looking for a GOOD one, less than $150- 100- 50k? . No Worries! I got it. I Used it. I Love it and I can easily recommend it.
This Pleasure Way Class b Motorhome has been driven by me only the last 14-15 months, on multiple 250-350 mile trips, over 2300 miles. I replaced the battery 2 weeks ago. This is easy to DESCRIBE - everything works! However, the dash fan is blowing on HIGH only but since I am selling it, I am going to repair the switch and/or the resister. There is also 1 light bulb out on the top passenger side roof (fix that too!).
I bought it in Alamogordo NM. It uses no oil, good on fuel, mid teens at 60-65mph. Class 3 hitch with power to pull your boat or enclosed trailer with the Harleys. Air bags are on top of rear axle for a level ride. Lots of storage. I forgot but I actually still have clothes in the RV in case the urge hits me and a few other items below, outside. Soon as I got the RV, I added a INSIGNIA wall mount Smart TV. You can watch in the rear or in the front of the coach.
Last week,I stayed 3 days at Medical City parking lot where my mother was a patient in Fort Worth. Let"s just say, I am familiar with this unit. Oh, please read my feedback. Every item I sold, WAS a vehicle, no boots or books. All were trucks, fun cars, RVs or Harleys. This is a Wide Body Excel Twin Bed motorhome with enclosed Wet Bathroom a little over 20" with the spare mounted outside the rear door. It has a small medicine cabinet behind the mirror and water is adjusted to temp, then directed UP to the shower head above the sink.
Hot water and Furnace is powered by permanent mounted propane tank at LR lower door ( just filled ) and working fine. The engine fires up immediately. It"s always got fuel in it and ready to go. Great weekend getaway or travel the country. Previous owner put 71,000 miles in about 2 years. I got it just over 1 year ago and I only added just over 2300 miles.
The 2.8 Onan runs great. No problem to have the roof air on and use the microwave. Both A/Cs work fine. The rear will throw the air straight down into the bedroom area and FIRMLY toward the kitchen area, much farther than the 5000 BTUs units in the Roadtreks. This baby will make you grab cover in Texas summer and some good sleeping is to crack the nearest window open and turn the Fantastic fan on cooler nights. It will draw air in under the curtain right near your back and shoulders. Great sleeping with fresh air. I love these RV"s.
I park all over the place and kick back. Easy to pull in for fuel anywhere or get a bite to eat at your favorite restaurant, a couple hundred miles away and then go take a nap before hitting the trail. They are great. You DON"T need ROOM of a truck stop to park and buy fuel or turn around like the class a bus rigs. I"ve done that. It"s kinda like work, not fun. Bottom line, this is a solid dependable fully self contained with Blk, grey and fresh tanks or city hook ups will allow you to turn the pump off. It has a match set of tires with lots of tread remaining, Michlens 10 ply E rated, I"d go anywhere on them I wanted.
If I missed anything please call me, 325.665.3355. Ask me anything. If I don"t know, I"ll find out. No leaks on the engine or transmission, power steering, AC. Very original but clean under the motor area. No interior leaks or traces of former leaks. The closet is lighted up when you open the door. The cruise works, overdrive button on the gear shift works, front and rear seats are nice nice, non smoker, the cig lighter has never been used or any burn marks. No leaks in the exhaust system. No ticks, taps, knocks, smoke, steam or all those bad possibilities. RV people keep their RV UP and Ready, probably more so than a corvette owner. Old or New, the RV is driven, not abused. Like I mentioned, if you have a question, call and ask. I got time.
If you aren"t happy with my price, I made it possible for you to MAKE OFFER. If you are reasonably close, I"ll try to sell it. I am hoping to build a new small house and so some of the toys got to go. I live near ABI, the regional airport in Abilene TX. If you want to fly in and drive it home, I will bring the RV to the airport. You"ll love the drive back. It will be like a quick mini vacation. This truck is solid. It will be fine. I can deliver for you if you like. I need to cover the expenses and a ride to the nearest airport. It would be best if you came here but I"ll just say, it can be done, one way or another.
I have a clear title in hand. I will not take a check. Too many scams and fake checks can be printed too easily. I"ll pass. . Payment should be in cash or by wire. then the vehicle can be driven or transported, buyer"s choice. The deposit is handled thru Ebay system. Please confirm your finances and your spouse before purchasing. The whole nation will wonder what happen? Doubt breeds doubt. So make sure, you are committed if you buy the coach. If not, skip it. It will make somebody a great RV. I took a year to check it out.
These Pleasure Way are scarce in this condition. Very hard to find. I know. I"ve been from Seatle WA to Homestead FL, looking all the time for RV"s. Live in a fifth wheel right now, that I"ll be selling if all goes right soon. I have MANY photos if you care to see, any specific area of the Rv.
Happy Hunting OR Happy Travels, if it will work for you.
Thanks! Bobby 325.665.3355
