1978 Piper Lance II S/N 32R-788504 N9385C 2020 ADSB Compliant. Fresh from extensive annual and IFR Certification all just completed June 2018 with 100% new exhaust system and other upgrades. Aircraft needs nothing is ready to fly anywhere now.
To start this advertisement, I will say that this aircraft has a previous damage history, with landing gear damage, from hitting a deer 18 years ago and another prop strike 14 years ago. All damage was properly reported, repaired and certified, with engine tear downs and extensive magnaflux inspections and parts replacements for sudden stoppage on both occasions and the plane has flown many, many hours/years without an incident or damage since. It has been through at least 14 annual inspections since its last incident and anything and everything has been inspected, reinspected, and maintained to the highest level of safety and mechanical readiness. All AD"s have been complied with. All records and logs are available for inspection by any potential buyer. This airplane has been meticulously maintained and always gotten anything it needed with no expense spared. It flies great, it looks great, everything works and it has been very reliable, but it"s not new and like any aircraft, it will require ongoing maintenance to keep it in the shape it is currently in.
This Piper Lance has had thousand spent in avionics and mechanical upgrades, and over $13,000.00 spent in the last 30 days. It is equipped as follows and all times are approximate as I am flying it regularly:
Airframe Total Time approximately 6600 Time Since Major Overhaul currently less than 900 on G&N Aircraft overhaul in 1998. Lycoming IO540-KIGD 300 horsepower fuel injected, non turbo charged, less than 900 hours since overhaul with all new parts. 1 cylinder repaired at most recent annual. All compressions in spec. Hartzell 3 blade prop currently less than 450 since prop overhaul. Last painted 1990. Paint in great shape overall but a few chips. Always hangared. Club seating 6 seats very good condition, New carpeting last 24 months. JPI EDM 830 Engine Management System installed last 24 months Garmin 530W with TIS, TAWS upgraded last 24 months and ADSB 2020 Compliant with Traffic and Weather added in June 2018 Garmin GTX330ES digital transponder upgraded last 24 months and made 2020 ADSB Compliant upgraded June 2018 Garmin GMA340 Audio Panel Century 2000 Auto Pilot Century NSD 360 HSI, Glide Slope Coupled to Century 2000 Century Altitude Gyro King KX155 NAV COM King KI209 NAV GS LOC King KT76A Backup Transponder King KN64 DME 3M WX Storm Scope ACK Technologies A-30 Encoding Altimeter R.C. This aircraft flies at 150 knots with a fuel burn of about 16 gallons per hour with capacity to carry 94 gallons of fuel, and has a 3600 pound gross weight with a useful load of over 1300 pounds and is capable of carrying over 800 pounds of people and cargo when full of fuel. It"s a great airplane, serious IFR platform, has lots of storage area and lots of room and comfort for crew and passengers. Has the rear passenger door and adjoining cargo door to make it really easy to load people in the club seating or open the doors and if it will fit it will fly.
Trade a plane valuation is in excess of $112,000.00. Any questions call Danny at 843-458-0001.
