Vehicle description
1978 Piper Lance II S/N 32R-788504 N9385C 2020 ADSB Compliant Extensive annual and IFR Certification all just completed June 2018. Aircraft needs nothing is ready to fly anywhere now.
To start this advertisement, I will say that this aircraft has a previous damage history, with landing gear damage, 18 to 20 years ago. All damage was properly repaired and certified and the plane has flown many, many hours without incident since. It has been through at least 18 annual inspections since its last incident. If you are looking for an aircraft with no damage history, this plane is not the one for you.
All records and logs are available for inspection by any potential buyer. This airplane has been meticulously maintained and always gotten anything it needed with no expense spared. It flies great, it looks great, everything works and it has been very reliable, but you do have to spend money to maintain them properly.
This Piper Lance has had over $50,000 spent in avionics and mechanical upgrades in the last 24 months. It is equipped as follows and all times are approximate as I am flying it regularly:
Airframe Total Time approximately 6600 Time Since Major Overhaul approximately 1000 on factory reman. Lycoming IO540-KIGD 300 horsepower Hartzell 3 blade prop approximately 500 since new Last painted 1990. Always hangared. Club seating 6 seats very good condition JPI EDM 830 Engine Management System Garmin 530W with TIS, TAWS and ADSB 2020 Compliant with Traffic and Weather Garmin GTX330ES digital transponder 2020 ADSB Compliant Garmin GMA340 Audio Panel Century 2000 Auto Pilot Century NSD 360 HSI, Glide Slope Coupled to Century 2000 Sigma Tek 5000 Altitude Gyro King KX155 NAV COM King KI209 NAV GS LOC King KT76A Backup Transponder King KN64 DME 3M WX Storm Scope ACK Technologies A-30 Encoding Altimeter R.C. Allen type turn and slip indicator Windshield mounted OAT gauge Sigtronics ST-400 Intercom Aero Safe Vacuum System Brackett Induction Air Filter System Kool Scoop Ground Ventilation System LED Landing Light Norton Radome Kit (Right Wing) Fuel Capacity 94 gallons
This aircraft flies at 150 knots with a fuel burn of about 16 gallons per hour with capacity to carry 94 gallons of fuel, and has a 3600 pound gross weight with a useful load of over 1300 pounds and is capable of carrying over 800 pounds of people and cargo when full of fuel. It"s a great airplane, serious IFR platform, has lots of storage area and lots of room and comfort for crew and passengers. Has the rear passenger door and adjoining cargo door to make it really easy to load people in the club seating or open the doors and if it will fit it will fly.
I will consider any reasonable offer, but based on appraisal, it is advertised below its true value even when considering that is has a damage history. Any questions call Danny at 843-458-0001.
