Vehicle description

PIPER SENECA II PROJECT 1977 PA34-200T Continetal TSIO 360-EB and LTSIO 360-EB with approximately 200 hours since Mattituck This is a great twin that a pilot/mechanic could make into a great personal twin. The aircraft has been sitting outside out of annual for several years and has no logbooks. It will need work to ferry out of KISP (Long Island MacAuthur Airport). The left engine did fire up and run smoothly with ground power. The right tank was empty and we didn"t work on it any further. The mechanic who maintained the aircraft is still on the field and says it was a low time well maintained aircraft until the owner aged and basically forgot about the plane (health issues). The engines and props have about 200 hours on them to the best memory of those involved (Mattitucks). The props look great and you can tell the engines are not that old. The tachs in the plane, which appears to be original only show 1043 and 1035 total hours (zoom in or I can send you closer pics)! Based on the FAA record search this is a one owner airplane! I plan to go up and clean up the plane and get the other engine running (I"m sure adding fuel will really help). You will see in the photos that there is some surface corrosion on the plane. I could not find any soft spots yet, but it should addressed asap. The radios appear to function. The displays are crazed, and my avionics guy said he can replace all displays for about $1000 (cheaper if you find the parts on eBay). The janitrol heater is not with the plane, so plan accordingly. The rudder is damaged and not connected. I have a spare rudder for a Seneca II (its on eBay). I will include that if reserve is met. The center seats are not installed but the hardware and seat belts indicate that it is a club seating aircraft. I have a set of rear facing seats from another Seneca that I will include if reserve is met. If somebody is interested in buying for parts please contact me prior to end of sale. I do not need to include the extra parts and can lower the price if needed. The plane is sitting a NY Jet also known as Mid Island Air Service. I suggest you view it prior to bidding. As I work on the plane and resolve some of the smaller issues the price will go up. I have some flying to do this week so I"m offering it up cheap right now. If it doesn"t sell this week I will straighten out a few issues and get it ready for ferry. As long as I have it, I will work on it towards making it airworthy for an annual inspection. My shop is in Allentown, PA. I have parted out other Senecas and Lances, so I have a good bit of parts at my shop on the shelf. Logbooks are not likely to be found, but if they are located the value will jump significantly. The last mechanic may have some records to help rebuild some form of history, but he does not have the logbooks. He may have some receipts that would show when the last annual and when the engines were installed. This is an auction to buy the aircraft, not win the rights to go look at it and decide to walk away. $1000 deposit within 24 hours or second hig h bidder gets it. Its a week long auction, go look at it this week. I have sold many parts, avionics and planes on eBay, check my feedback and bid with confidence. If you have questions please call Brad (me) at (610)972-7940. Lastly I also have a set of Seneca III engine cores. If you are looking to overhaul and upgrade, gain climb speed, cruise and 100 pounds useful load call me. They are TSIO 360-KB and LTSIO 360-KB with accesories.
