Up for auction is a 1964 Piper Cherokee PA-28 150 HP I have owned this aircraft for 13 years.
TTAF: @5600 TT Engine Top overhaul: 212 SMOH (2009) TT Bottom Engine: @2312 TT 312 SPOH (overhaul propeller) Changed engine oil: 4/2017 The top overhaul engine was performed by Corona Aircraft Shop, CA The mechanic recommended the top overhaul engine and the bottom engine does not need an overhaul and is good for up to 1000 hours. Compressions are good. Runs very strong and smooth Replaced new radios, interior seats, panels, floor, new tires, new battery, and new brakes Interior is #9
I have all the receipts on what I spent on top overhaul engine, propeller, radios, upholstery, and labor. My loss is your gain. I also have all the paperwork. I have airworth certificate and some log books. I do have AD paperwork
Recently registered. Fresh Annual is done for you on 4/20/2017 and is good until 4/2018. You save money. After you win the bid, you just pay the fuel and fly home.
It"s fully IFR It"s equipped with the following Dual COMM/NAV/GS NARCOS, MK 12D, ID 825, KMA 20 TSO, Transponder Model C Everything"s working.
Exterior paint is peeling so it really needs a painting job.
If you want to have it paint, I have someone who can do it for $3500. I can give you his name and phone number after you purchase the aircraft, not before. The reason for not having it painted was that I am broke.
Since the top overhaul in 2009 0 SMOH, I flew a total time of 212 SMOH I"m retired now and am not flying anymore. There is nothing wrong with the aircraft. You can listen to the engine running, taxi it, or fly. You just need to pay the fuel. If you want to test fly it, you must pay the fuel at least $50.
