This aircraft is a normal category aircraft, absolutely beautiful, qualifies as light sport. The airplane is overall white with blue trim, all brand new in 2005. The seats are cloth with vinyl side panels, again all brand new in 2005. Glass was all brand new at the rebuild. The engine is a Continental C-85-12-F at 3989 hours, with a complete rebuild at 188 hours (2005) serial no. 26847-6-12F. Annual inspection is due: 12/1/2017. The propeller is a McCauley fixed pith, serial number 7427. Gross weight is 1118 lbs, empty weight is 742 lbs, and useful load is 376 lbs. There is no electrical system, so it is hand prop and portable radio only. It starts almost every time 1st pull. Main fuel tank is 12 gallons, left wing tank is 8 gallons. Has a spin-on oil filter (STC), Maule tail wheel, Stromberg carburetor, carb heat, dual control wheels, pilot"s side brake only. N4544H has been completely rebuilt, not just restored. Logs and records from that date (2005) are in excellent order with all A.D.s and 337 forms in place. This being the case, the original logbooks (which were destroyed) are not nearly as relevant as compared to an airplane that was simply repaired. In that case, all damage would need to be documented and records filed with the FAA making the airplane simply a damaged and repaired airplane, actually lowering its retail value.
