Vehicle description
The only NASCAR to be Raced by 3 Different NASCAR Champions The 1992-1999 Pontiac Grand Prix #20 was built by Joe Gibb Racing in 1992 as #006 Oscar the Interstate sponsored Chevy Lumina, campaigned on road courses by Dale Jarrett from 1992 through 1994. (Back then Joe Gibb didn"t build new road course cars every year, he would just rebody the same road course car with different manufacturer templates.) In 1995 it was Bobby LaBonte"s #18 Interstate Monte Carlo, and again from "96-98 was LaBonte"s #18 Interstate Pontiac. In 1999 it was campaigned by NASCAR rookie driver Tony Stewart as the #20 Home Depot Pontiac Grand Prix. All three of its drivers won NASCAR championships. It"s the only NASCAR race car to ever be driven by three actual NASCAR champions. I bought it from Joe Gibbs Racing after the 1999 season on a Bill of Sale. The Bill of Sale states the three drivers raced this car. You might say this is the triple crown of NASCAR collectibles.
