Vehicle description
WHY A NISSAN NV 2500 The Nissan is unlike the Dodge Promaster and Ford Transit Vans. It is actually more like a truck and thus has better off road capabilities. Further, while the other vans tow about 5500 lbs. The NV tows about 9500 lbs which makes it excellent for pulling a small trailer, boat, etc., if you wanted. I"ve never done it, however, it does have a tow package.
STEALTH CAMPER CONVERSION
This van features a clean glacier white exterior with no side windows or anything on top for "Stealth Camping" on city streets, rest areas, businesses and more unnoticed when needed. Fewer windows adds extra insulation, privacy and security. The drivers seat and passenger seat are all that you see. The small main "cabin" is divided by new gray blackout curtains that match the front seats. The velcro ensures a snug fit. There is also a second pair of curtains that lets in the lights for day use. Inside t he back cabin you"ll find cabinets for storing clothes and personal items, kitchenware, etc., a bed and an adjustable Lagun table. There is an adjustable "third chair" with a seatbelt and swivel base for extra seating that is currenlty be unbolted for more room. But, you can add it back in. The front passenger seat can fold flat to be used as a table. However, there is comfortable chair which can be easily placed on top for extra seating. For the front of the cab there is a orange reflector vest and a yellow hard hat for the dash. There are some black decal numbers and decal reflectors I never put up but can also help the van look more "stealthy".
KITCHEN
There is a 6 gallon cold water only sink with both a hand pump and a foot pump to save on electricity. There is also a another 6 gallon container for storing more water. There is a 7 gallon gray water tank that can easily be emptied as needed. A small single burner butane stove for cooking. There is a 42 quart chest refrigerator with cup holders that fits between the front and passengers seat.
BATHROOM
In one of the cabinets there is a new pull out toilet that"s never been used. It"s self contained with its own gray water tank. (See pic)
ENTERTAINMENT There is a Satellite Radio and a small DC TV that plugs into the cigarette lighter at the front of the van. At the back of the van is a larger 32" tv mounted to the wall for your viewing pleasure. Both remotes are attached to the wall with velcro so you won"t lost them.
POWER
The van has a 110 "400 watt" power system, one plug in the front and one in the back. There are also two USB chargers and two AC adapters. To help keep the battery maintained there is a 10 watt 12 volt solar panel car battery charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter and can be placed discretely on the dash. There is also a 240 Watt Jackery power system with a 100 watt folding solar panel that can be placed on the dash as a visor or, or on the ground, roof, etc. if needed.
HEATING / COOLING
The van heater and air conditioner are both strong and provide heating and cooling. However, there is also a New Butane Heater as well a New 400 Watt Oil Heater.
LUXURY & COMFORT
The Nissan NV has a larger front end which provides more legroom in the cab and extra protection in a head on collision. There are side and front air bags. The vehicle has a back up camera, cruise control, traction control, power windows and door locks, etc.
LIKE NEW
Around 12,200 miles on the Van, Camper Conversion built last year, most appliances new and unused. 20" length, Interior Height is 6"3".
BONUS
Dashcam with night vision for filming your adventures. Also has a parking monitor and motion sensor for security. carbon monoxide and smoke detector with voice warning. MIDDLE CHAIR The gray middle chair is on a swivel and can be moved around. There is a seat belt for a third seat in the van. Or, it can be unbolted and used as a comfy chair in the bed area. (see pics)
BED - The bed area can be configured into a square which is short and best for diagonal sleeping if your tall. Or, you can lengthen the bed for a taller person by rearranging the cushions. Below is a pic of a 6"4 bed that can be made.
FRONT PASSENGER SEAT The front passenger seat can be folded down to make a table. Or, you can use the lighter gray chair (see pics) and place it on top of it to make extra seating facing the back of the van.
PHOTO DISCLAIMER - Most of the photos are one week old. However, there is one that is a couple months old. The brown roof is now white. The silver faucet is replaced with a pump faucet that works both by foot or hand.
WARRANTY - The vehicles 60 month / 60,000 mile warranty is still in effect.
