Vehicle description
NO RESERVE! ! HIGH BID WINS! This is the Coolest truck you will ever drive! It would make the perfect Overland RV or Monster truck or ? 4x4 with Front and Rear Lockers! 540 HP ! Less than 16,000 miles ! I purchased this truck with the intention of converting it into an off-road RV monster that will go anywhere. I wanted the Titan because they are designed to specifications for airport use, which means they have a lot more power than a normal fore truck. Even with the big tires and all the equipment I can reach 60mph in 17 seconds (I can send you the video) I can cruise at 60 to 70 mph with RPM at 2000 to 2400. Fuel mileage is comparable to my Monaco Motorhome. It is still a complete fire truck and could be purchased by a fire department and put to use as it is. I have never filled the water tank or tried to shoot water from it, but everything else on the truck works as it should and it has less than 16,000 miles on the truck. Her are some specs I found: General Specs 1993 E-One ARFF Crash Truck Titan E-One Chassis Custom Length: 29" 5" Truck Height: 11" 6" Seating for 4; 2 SCBA seats Detroit 8V92TA 540 HP Diesel Engine Pump - Tank 1500 Gallon Polypropylene Tank 225 Gallon Foam Cell 500 lbs Dry Chemical I planned to remove the tanks and all the fire gear for my RV conversion. The reason I am selling it is that it is too big of a project for me right now and the wife says I can’t keep it for running to the grocery store. I drove this truck on an 850-mile trip last month and it was very impressive. Lots of power and easy to drive. If you shop around for a truck like this you will see that they start at about $100,000 (for a very used one) and most of the trucks that are as clean as this are $250,000 to $275,000. When I say no reserve, I mean it. I’m starting the auction at $15,000, just to keep the tire kickers from sending me 1,000 emails and offering nothing for it. I am willing to look at a trade for anything that is cool. I love motor homes (Class A) and hot rods and things that are unique. How do you work a trade on a no reserve auction? Like this: if you have something to trade, send me a message with as much detail as possible and we will agree upon a value for your trade. If you win this auction, I will take your trade toward the auction price. If your trade was worth more than the winning bid, I’ll pay you the difference. If the winning bid is higher than your trade value, I will take your trade and you pay the difference. The company that builds these trucks has a great reputation and parts are easy to get. I included a link to the E-One website below. http:/ www.e-one.com/product_category/aircraft-rescue-fire-fighting-arff/ This truck is in New Braunfels Texas. We are 30 miles North of San Antonio, about 40 miles South of Austin. Come look at it! Bring your mechanic, your friends, whatever. You will be super impressed with this truck. You could drive it anywhere as it is, I did! Send me a message if you want more pics, video, etc. I would suggest you just come drive it. NO Reserve! No Reserve!
