Vehicle description

Here is a very nice example of a 1945 Ford GPW that would be a perfect restoration candidate. I want to start by saying that this jeep belongs to a friend and I am helping him sell this. If I didn’t already have a WW2 Jeep project going I would have jumped all over this. He has a title in hand and we can help ship anywhere in world. The jeep is located in Oakland, California.
It has never been taken apart and still has most of its original OD paint underneath. The engine is a Willys MB and the data plates are long gone. The frame serial number is GPW 238013 and the original hood number is 20590614. The jeep is loaded with original Ford parts. The jeep has all three seats, 5 original combat rims, lube chart holder under the hood, T-84 transmission, bumperettes, Ford GPW radiator and numerous other original parts. Overall this is a very nice example of a WW2 Jeep that is 75 years old but please realize that the jeep is not perfect. There are some rust spots on the floors and it does not currently run but the engine turns over. It will need at least a mechanical restoration. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. We would like to have a completed sale after the auction so please do not bid if you do not plan on buying the jeep. Please make sure to see all the photos. Buyer is responsible for making all shipping arrangements.
