Vehicle description
Current turnkey racecar ready now for it"s next race- just load it up and go! Sorted and reliable raced 2019 season! PODIUM FINISHES EVERY RACE WEEKEND IN 2019!
Can be viewed in person 10/25-10/27/2019 at National Corvette Museum (NCM) Racetrack in Bowling Green Kentucky where it will be raced again for the weekend!
Most recently raced 10/5/2019 and 10/6/2019 - 1st place for the NASA Great Lakes region!
Car itself is from California so there is no rust anywhere.
NOTE the 1st 4 external photos taken the weekend of 10/5/2019 at the track to show exact current condition to exterior of car. There was zero contact that weekend so condition has not changed. Final photo is of the most recent Compliance dyno performed on track after a podium finish on 8/25/2019. The 122whp was the same 4/2019 when it was compliance dynojet tested at that time (copy available upon request).
Build was just completed this year for NASA ST6 class (revamp of existing racecar originally built in 2010 out in California originally for SCCA ITA - 3 races in 2010). This rebuild included professionally redone wiring meaning all new made from all new parts including engine harness with all its associated connectors and dash wiring (all new throughout the car in 2019 so there will be no pesky electrical gremlins because the 25 year old problematic wiring is all gone now).
The following all NEW installed in September 2019 with 2 weekends of use.
Alternator Front Rotors with Hawk Race Brake pads along with Caliper boot kit
The following all NEW in July 2019 (3 race weekends of use):
Whiteline front offset upper control arm bushings with replacement ball joint on driver side.
The following all NEW installed May 2019 with 5 weekends of use:
Replacement Front Windshield (old one was very pitted up) Windshield wipers Lexan front side windows with pop out air intake for additional driver cooling (Advanced-Autosports sells these) Fuel Pump, Strainer and Fuel Filter Both Front hubs Additional hand-held fire extinguisher (this is in addition to the fire system)
The following all NEW installed April 2019 with 7 weekends use:
MISHIMOTO aluminum race radiator SPAL 14" Slim fan puller Catch can setup Kirkey 15" RoadRace seat with air-knit cover hans compatible 6-point Oreca FIA harness (2" lap belts) Racequip window net NRG 2.5 Quick release self centering quick release hub attached to custom shorter adapter plate (due to taller driver- longer arms reach inside the cabin) LED lights in front (with toggle switch inside) to help with night loading or to turn on for rain races for others cars to see you coming Kosei 15x8 12.1 pound wheels (currently with used Hoosier 205 50 15 tires) Test pipe with custom exhaust all 4 brake rotors with Hawk race pads front and rear All new wiring as already explained above
Other details as follows:
Car is gutted (including removal of factory lights) to be at a weight of 2050 with no driver and about 1/4 tank of gasoline before adding any ballast back to meet hp/wt for class.
2019 NASA tech and raced this 2019 season! * PODIUM FINISHES EVERY WEEKEND ITS RACED! *
IMPORTANT NOTE: Traqmate, camera mount and transponder is NOT included. Wired for coolsuit system but coolsuit system itself not included. Hardtop has functional defrost. (newly wired in 2019 of course) Aftermarket header LRB Aluminum belly tray Coolant reroute done so it can be ready for endurance races Oil cooler setup (again for better cooling on the engine) Toyota coil-on plugs conversion (no more pesky unreliable Mazda Miata coilpack issues) 4.3 Torsen from a 99 Miata installed Stainless steel brake lines and brake proportioning valve Stock window glass is setup to be installed for open transport on both doors. Halon fire system (this means it doesn"t expire like AFFF and no need to remove bottle in freezing temps) Momo Steering wheel Autometer Tachometer, Water Temp, Oil pressure, oil temp gauges Factory fuel gauge (removed from original cluster and custom installed in its own housing) Water pressure light (goes off once heat and pressure builds in the system as 1st starting the car) Alternator light (goes on if not properly charging - a lifesaver for predicting a bad alternator) Combo of Delrin and poly bushings throughout Koni coilover suspension with 750/400 spring rates (front/rear) Interior completely painted gray as seen in photos
BONUS EXTRAS INCLUDED: 1 Complete set of NEW in box Hawk Front/Rear DTC race pads
The following would not work if the car is being transported via truck but only if self towing: Spare used Transmission Spare rebuildable 99 Transmissions (1 doesn"t have 1st gear while the other is missing 3rd)
I am probably forgetting some tidbits but feel free to contact me at 847 736-7684 for any additional questions. (text messages usually responded to quickest)
Please note that the NASA logbook is current and valid for 2019 and although an SCCA Logbook will be included, it would need a new tech to be valid for racing. The SCCA logbook was most recent annual tech was in 2017. This has been a w2w racecar since 2010. It had 3 races in 2010 with its 1st issued SCCA logbook and then was then sold to the 2nd owner who raced it with NASA in PTE class from 2011 through the 2017 Season. We acquired the car in October 2017. The rebuild/revamp in total took 18 months which is why we did not race it again until April this year of 2019 (7 race weekends so far with NASA and will be 8 for the 2019 season after 10/25-26/2019) There was never any major damage reported in either logbooks for reference (so the chassis is solid).
