Vehicle description

You are bidding on a 1969 Mooney M20C that has been idle for some years now. the plane was a nice little plane and could be again with the right owner. the plane has not been damaged, only been sitting for quite a while. we purchased this plane to get the prop as we needed it for another aircraft, figuring we would just part this one out. after looking at it for a while we realized that it is just too good to do that to.
as you know, the c model mooney has 180 horsepower in the form of the bulletproof 0-360 Lycoming engine. these are without a doubt some of the most dependable engines in the world of aviation, having been built in this same configuration since the late fifties. the plane is a four seat and will easily haul four people, full fuel, and baggage for 600 miles at 155 MPH burning 8.5to 9 gallons an hour. nothing else comes close to those numbers
engine still has good compressions.
aircraft has electric gear and flaps
interior has the desirable individual reclining rear seats. the interior will need to be redone as it is tired. paint will need to be redone as well.
has an autopilot!
aircraft has 2300 total time on the airframe and the engine.
the only piece that we removed from the plane was the propeller. spinner and backing plate go with the plane itself.
radios are as follows Narco cp136 switching panel narco at150 trans[onder mx11 com com 11a nav 12 w glideslope and an old adf
as we said, it has an autopilot, electric gear, and flaps
this plane will require an annual inspection to fly again.
have all of the log books as well as the certificate of airworthiness. and also a huge amount of paperwork that goes with the plane.
the plane is at our shop here in Morristown Tennessee. it has been dissembled and is sitting here waiting on delivery to the new owner. we can deliver for a fee but lets talk before the end of the auction about delivery.
