Monster Miata Race Car for sale Here is my 1999 Miata race car The car has a V8 Roadster subframe for reinforcing the stock body. The motor is a new LS6, built by Turn Key Powertrain and has approximately 10 hrs. on the engine. The engine, with its current tune and stock cam, has been dynode at 388 hp at the rear wheels. The Transmission is a T5, completely refurbished by G-Force Transmissions, now rated at 500 hp. The clutch is a Spec Clutch, new, with less than 3 hrs. on the clutch. It has a new Tilton hydraulic release bearing also Brakes are Wilwood disks and calipers with CarboTec pads The car weighs in at 2398 lbs. With driver, 50.1/49.9 weight distribution, last time the car was scaled. The car has not been raced since the rebuild. The was prepped for the fall /winter racing in So Cal but due to medical conditions, I can’t get a medical waiver to race any more. No sense in keeping car. I turn 2.01 lap times at Cal Speedway, 2.30 at Willow. The car come with a Wells Enclosed trailer. The trailer just had the wheel bearings re packed and re sealed, the electric brakes were serviced and a new break away switch. The car comes with an extra set of rims, with Toyo Proxies, and a new set of race tires, unmounted. I have a box of miscellaneous spare parts. The belts are current, fire suppression good, car will tech for both VARA and NASA racing.
