Vehicle description
Meet Brutus, a custom built 1987 AM General M35A2C Deuce-and-a-Half, with a 7.8L multi-fuel turbo engine that sings along very nicely and a 5-speed standard 2-speed transfer case. 6 almost new 395-85-20 Michelins mounted on 20" Black Rhino wheels. Has GSS 5-point Cobra Hummer front seats. I purchased this as an almost finished project several years ago and have had a lot of fun with him, after owning lots of old cars and trucks nothing gets the looks like when you pull up to a stop light or cruise night with this beast. Whenever the grandchildren come over Brutus has to come out of the barn and play. Brutus is good for parades, has been used in weddings (one recently where I drove the groom and his party of 5 in and the bride rode in my 57 chevy truck) and everyone paid way more attention and took way more pictures of everyone in Brutus, put the American Flags on him (which I am very proud of my flag) and your TRUMP signs on the box and head for the TRUMP rally Brutus is equipped with a set of 52" bull horns which should clear the way of any blocked street.
After the purchase of a large property I can no longer find the time to use him so reluctantly I will have to pass him along. He is set up with a rear communication body that is equipped with multiple electrical outlets, fans and a separate 120v / 208v power entrance box. Body could be turned into a camper-style doomsday-prepper"s dream. This truck gets down the road really well as you can see in the google drive link listed below as we are getting ready to put the horns to the red Dodge truck in front of us, I found it ironic that the truck in front of us was a Dodge Ram which has very puny horns compared to Brutus"s .

Brutus comes with a clean NH title in my name BUT there is one hitch to be aware of the mileage was recorded on the NH title as 5,989 miles, Brutus"s last military rebuild was performed about 4500 miles ago so the current odometer reading is 4,512 which may go up as we do drive him, with the discrepancy in the mileage he will be signed off as "TMU" true mileage unknown.
In the auction is included roughly $1500 of new and used extra parts as you can see in the pictures, also there is a set of metal diamond plate covers that are made to fit over the rear wheel opening along the the rear mudflaps and rear steps for the box. Other things that should be known about Brutus is that he is in need of a new steering box, I drive him just the way that he is but the box has an excessive amount of play. Plans were to install power steering and I just never made it that far. Second is that the winch on the front is not hooked up. I have some of the parts like the driveshaft to run it but the transmission does not have the PTO added into it.
Brutus is for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end the auction early. If you are the winning bidder a $500.00 Non refundable paypal deposit is required within 24 hours of the end of the auction and we can finish the sale by wire transfer or cash in person at pick up but full payment needs to be within 7 days of the end of the auction.
Warranty : To be sold as-is, no written or implied warranty.
Shipping: Buyer is responsible for shipping or making shipping arrangements, I can be pretty flexible about working with your shipper or depending on your location and if we work something out before hand depending on location I MAY OR MAY NOT be able to drop him off. All of this needs to be worked out before hand and is done solely at my discretion.
If you have any questions please send them. I will do my best to answer them all or feel free to call me at 603 995 6802. Thanks.
