Offered for sale is an extremely rare and original 1959 MGA Twin Cam Coupe. Only 323 of these cars were ever produced, and only 85 LHD models were made in 1959 for the North American market. This Coupe still retains its Twin Cam specific transmission, hood prop, heater box, 4 wheel disks, all five wheels, and tachometer, however the engine was replaced with a 1600 unit in the 60’s as the original engines were known to fail. Several Twin Cam specific engine components are included with the car including: cylinder head, timing chest backing plate w/ sprockets, oil pan, etc. The car is quite solid and straight, and shows no signs of collision damage.
