Vehicle description
1958 MGA roadster originally old english white body on 1957 chassis. Restoration has started previous owner had replaced both rocker panels on body. The frame has had some minor home brewed repairs, angles for plywood floor panels are not original, custom single battery tray and painted entire chassis with Por-15 gloss black. Chassis fitted with MGB front suspension and rear axle allowing disc brakes on front wheels. Gas tank is Cleaned and painted. New front brake lines. Rear fenders were recently media blasted and coated with a light coat of primer, right front fender has a lower repair section fitted (not welded), other areas top coated with Eastwood rust encapsulator. Dash media blasted and top coated with U-Pol primer. Main body sanded to bare metal. Front wheels are 48 spoke rear wheels are 60 spokes. Four matching 165-15 Cooper tires in excellent condition with 2-new tubes fitted. Includes seat frames, primed dash, windshield stanchons, windshield frame, top frame, wood floor panels, rear render light perches with good Lucas tail lights and most original body hardware. Set up for 1800cc MG B 5-main engine, mounts fitted, MGB syncromesh 4-speed transmission and brand new custom made driveshaft. The 4-speed included is in good used condition and I will include a MG B engine short block in need of rebuild. Includes aluminum framed side window curtains and local WA state made fiberglass hard top. (needs rear window have pattern made). Raydot driving light. Custom mesh grille. Sebring fiberglass front valance. Said to have been used in local Autocross events in the 1960"s but I have no documentation. Use as base for race car, Hot Rod or Rat Rod project.
There are NO bumpers, windshield glass, chrome cowl vents, lighting, wiring, gauges, switches, interior carpet/panels, top vinyl, rear part of drive line cover and other misc parts.
