Live the adventure in stealth (health!) and style! This 2015 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 was custom designed with the adventurer-artist in mind. It is a Sprinter cargo conversion van with three-37"x11" tinted windows with sliding removable screens, for privacy and convenience. The windshield and cab windows are UV tinted for a cooler cab and to ensure the long-life of the dash components. The entire interior is a beautiful and rich oil-rubbed cedar- better for your health and the environment. There is insulation throughout, including the floors and wheel wells. There is Roxul insulation in the ceiling, walls, internal doors and sliding external door. Roxul is fire and moisture resistant and chemically inert which makes for a quieter environment with better air quality. The high-quality laminate floors were chosen for their beauty, durability and green certification. The sink is big enough to be usable and the cabinet is large enough to comfortably prep food and do other household chores. The futon comfortably sits upright or folds down to a sleep area of 54"x80". The futon cover is removable and washable. Use the area underneath the futon, more than 16 cubic feet of space, to store your stuff.
This van is "dry"- there are no water hookups. Ideal for a stealth, off-grid adventure van. However, the faucet is pump action. Two water containers underneath the sink are designed to hold clean and dirty water. Fill one 5 gallon container with clean water and use the hand pump faucet to wash in the sink. The dirty water flows into the other 5 gallon container for easy and simple disposal.
The roof boasts 6-100W low-profile (you cannot see them from the ground) solar panels and holds a vent fan. The solar panels power a smart LiFePO4 battery bank of 240aH, 3000W pure sine wave inverter and a Renogy Rover 40 Amp 12V/24V DC MPPT Solar Charge Controller. The auxiliary solar system is enough power to charge your off-grid excursions, such as the refrigerator (which is included in this purchase), lights, your laptop, etc. Also included is a smart back-up battery charger for use with A/C power. The service area for the solar system is conveniently tucked in the rear auxiliary area.
The insulated sliding door to the rear auxiliary area can be closed for privacy when opening the Sprinter van"s rear cargo compartment. In addition to providing ample storage space, this is also an ideal area for locating a dry toilet.
For security, there is also a Mercedes quick release battery feature, which helps to protect your Sprinter. Both cargo doors have been fitted with extra security, cylindrical puck locks, keyed alike. Also there are four new tires, there are about 42888 miles on the odometer, and 9200 miles before your scheduled maintenance.
