MCI Bus Motor Coach Conversion RV. Length: 40’ Width: 8” Power: Detroit Diesel 8V-92T 400hp (re-poweredfrom 8V-71 300hp) Allison 4 spd. Transmission Tire size: 11Rx24.5 (standard trucksize) Six recently replaced. Mileage: Chassis Unknown. Hub shows 54,000, Engine approx. 200,000. Air ride suspension. All air bagsrecently replaced HVAC: Original coach air plus twobasement 220 volt units thermostat controlled Three 110 volt floor heaters thermostat controlled Layout: Master in rear, Galley center,Living area in front Front baggage bay empty of any components Middle baggage bay houses the Kohler 12.5kw genset, two 8D house Rear baggage bay houses the fresh and black water tanks, water heater, two 12 volt and 24 volt chargers History: The shell was built by MCI in1975. Custom Coach in Ohio built the original conversion fromthe shell. I am told that the sales price was approx. $275,000 in1975. The interior was remodeled in 1984 by Marathon in Eugene, Oregon (one oftheir first projects). The coach was repainted by Marathon’s localpainter who, at the time, was the premier custom painter for Marathon and otherconversion manufacturers. I purchased the coach in 2007. My years ofexperience in the motor coach industry provided me with the necessary resourcesto perform the repower to the 8V-92 engine along with otherimprovements.
