Vehicle description
Rare find! 35 foot MCI 5 with chair lift non restroom coach. This bus is super clean inside and out. It was owned by Harvey House, the hotel / food giant along the railroad and Grand Canyon. It was used to transport the passengers from the train to the hotels. It was then sold to Grand Canyon Railroads, in Williams AZ to do the same. Rust free, great running bus. If you look closely you can see where the stickers said Harvey House on the stainless. It has a wheel chair lift, 8V71 Detroit Diesel with 5 speed standard transmission. Has a single rear axle, no tag tires and is only 35 feet long. Has AC and no restroom. It has 39 very nice reclining seats and no restroom. It was used for short trips all it"s life. This model bus was replaced by the 40 and 45 foot models in the early 80"s. The last year they were build was in 1980. Great for someone wanting to tow a vehicle or just wants a shorter unit. Bus is ready to be driven anywhere! It"s located in northern AZ, not far from Grand Canyon and can be delivered. A very nice cool piece of history. Watch for my next auction of a 45 foot MCI.
