1978 MCI 9 Bus (1979 Model Year). Detroit Diesel Engine 8V Engine (I believe 8V71, see pictures) and a 4 speed automatic transmission. We"ve had this bus a little over a year and used it 2 months out of the year to transport our baseball team in California. Bus has 2 new batteries. The engine is still strong and runs good and starts right up. We put approximately $8k worth of work into this bus and have used it for one season. Have all receipts to show what has been done. Selling because we acquired another one through a partnership deal. Classic interior with original seats and tables, stainless steel door handle, and original overhead TVs. 47 Seats and includes a restroom (we"ve never used the restroom). The inside of the bus has not been altered and could be used as an RV conversion or driven as is. Title is clean. Bus is currently stored at a school that my friend works at. They wrapped the bus for advertising value while it was parked there, in lieu of a charge for storage. They will remove the wrapping upon the sale. The bus will be sold "As Is and Where Is".
