1983 MCI MC9 40" Conversion Coach Bus (Camping/Touring/Sleeper/Team Travel/Band Travel, etc) This is a steal of a deal if you are looking for a way to transport a group of people in comfort and with plenty of room! Features 12 full length bunks for sleeping, a front sitting area with table and chairs, and a rear seating/entertainment area with a couple of couches. The bus is in great shape for the year, is quite an eye catcher, and runs like a boss! No leaks and there has never been water damage. No bathroom or other facilities installed at this point so there is no water/sewer maintenance to worry about. The conversion can be left as is or a bathroom and/or kitchen can easily be added with a little know-how if you want to convert to a motorhome. This coach bus has so many possibilities! It has been used for band and team travel along with touring and just plain fun. Could be used as a mobile bunk house for the whole crew! The front area has a table with 4 seats, 4 "captain" style chairs, and a large comfy couch. TV, DVD player, and soundbar included. The mid area has 12 semi-enclosed bunks that are about 6 1/2 ft long and 24-36" deep. Each bunk has it"s own curtain for privacy and an outlet with 2 AC (house style) plugs to run lights, electronics, etc. The back has an entertainment console along with 2 cushioned benches with space for 5-6 adults. -40 feet in length -Detroit Diesel 8V 5-speed manual -2 Brand New Radiators ($2400 in parts alone!) -Coach AC and heat works (AC needs to be recharged now that the radiators are installed but a brand new 30lb tank of R134-A is included) -Rooftop AC installed in front as well works great- NO LEAKS! -Grease packed bearings -Power Inverter runs all electronics and lights while engine is running or while the bus is stationary and plugged into a regular outlet. Can also be powered easily via generator (not included). -Has 3 huge undercarriage bays that have large doors on both sides of the bus with room for a ton of storage (or water/holding tanks if desired) – ALL BAY DOORS MOVE AND LOCK SMOOTHLY -Roof is 6" taller than a standard Coach Bus so it feels even bigger inside. -Full length upper shelves for storage run along both sides of the front area of the bus -Both steer tires have about 75% wear left -Both rear tag tires are brand new -All 4 drive tires are almost brand new and have 90%+ wear left -Has a hitch and towing vehicles or large trailers is not a problem! -Does not have a working speedometer but GPS with speedometer is included. I purchased the bus without a working speedometer and haven"t had any problems. -No odometer Runs great and has air brakes and air ride for super smooth travel! EMP PROOF for preppers or those looking for a bug out vehicle! ! Passed DOT Safety Inspection and has new Utah registration and tags. Clear title. Registered/Insured as a Class-A Motor Home so NO CDL or special licensing is required to drive it!
