Well maintained West Coast bus (no rust). DOT inspected with records. Currently in service for charter. The coach has about 80% tread on the tires, almost new brake pads and the rotors are in excellent shape. This is a big savings for you, as most used buses do not normally come like this.
There is a newer turbo, it has a spare tire, a new charge air cooler and the radiator was flushed and resealed within the last year. The air conditioning has been professionally serviced each year and will more then cool the passengers. Belts and hoses are in great shape and most were purchased in the last year. This bus is a good runner perfect for a new start up or a company looking for a solid bus for budget minded charter groups. It delivers all the bells and whistles to keep your passengers happy including nets, trays with cup holders, foot rests, REI DVD Player. Interior has been reupholstered. Would also be a good candidate to convert to an RV.
The heat is not as warm as they would like, but drivers thinks it is too warm in their area when the heat is on. It has a new drive line, newer turbo and the batteries are new. There are no rips or tears on the upholstery and all over head compartments are operational.
The bus has had oil change every 10,000 miles and will have another before it is picked up or delivered. The detroit 60 is original miles and from time to time will develop an oil leak. We keep up with these as time allows and have replaced the diamond seal, alternator seal and the oil cooler o-rings in the last two years. There is a current cold oil drip which we have not had a chance to fix that goes away when it warms up.
