Vehicle description
This bus has literally been through a tornado.
This is an AS IS, WHERE IS auction. If you do not fully understand what that means please do not bid.
Buyer MUST make payment arrangements withing 24 hours of auction end. BUYER will assume all responsibility for storage and moving of this item. This bus is being sold as SALVAGE, no guarantee for condition or fitness of use of any type is being implied.
Detroit 60 series Allison 500 45 foot bus.
There is a non branded Virginia title for this bus. The bus was running and in the process of being converted to an RV when struck by a F3 tornado. The only non damaged glass appears to be the drivers side window. The bus did run and drive well, however the battery is drained batteries were ok before tornado and the left front tire is off the bead. I can see no damage to the tire that makes me think it couldn"t be reseated and be ok. The front of the bus was slid 40 ft or so likely causing the tire to come off the bead. All other tires are holding air fine. There is extensive damage to the roof as pictured. The curb side took the brunt of the storm there are multiple dents dings and scratches. There are 4 sets of seats left, loose inside the bus. The door does still open and shut, but alignment incorrect. The bus has been mostly stripped for conversion, many of the lower moldings and panels are in the first bay. There is also a spare a/c compressor, a spare tire, and a 285gallon black polyethylene fuel tank that I was going to use for the sewer included.
! ! NOTE! ! THIS BUS MUST BE MOVED OUT OF ITS CURRENT PARKING SPOT
Arrangement will need to be made with the storage facility to move another spot on sight or it will need to be moved completely off site. They do not have large enough equipment to move the bus. I think that getting the tire re-seated and the bus jump started would be the easiest option.
This bus is at a storage facility a long distance from my home, I will NOT be available to help in its recovery efforts.
The storage facility is wanting the bus moved from that spot by 6/21, it doesn"t have to be moved far, but it is blocking cleanup efforts. Almost all of the debris in the pictures has been moved away from the bus.
BUYER MUST PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AUCTION END. BUS WILL BE RESOLD IF NOT.
RELISTED DO TO EBAY ERROR
