Vehicle description
40ft. long, 102" wide, u sed wheelchair capable coach bus. Restroom equipped, 46 passenger or 45 passenger plus wheelchair. LED tail lamp conversion done. (stop, tail, turn & backup lamps) DDEC 8V92, Allison Automatic Transmission, engine overhauled at Penn Diesel about 6 years ago. Used sparingly since then. Runs strong and transmission shifts perfectly. No longer in daily service, excess to our needs. Mileage is from hubometer and is mileage since we"ve owned the coach. Original coach mileage unknown, we"ve owned the coach since about mid - 2005. Bus only recorded about 245 miles in all of 2018. Bus is sold "As Is, Where Is", includes tires. Bus has standard restroom with holding tank. A/C was repaired at a MCI service center several years ago. Works perfect and have not had to add Freon since that factory repair. Contact John at for more info/questions. Do not bid unless you are a serious buyer. You are welcome to come see bus and test drive.
I keep getting questions about this bus such as can I drive it home? Two weeks ago we fired it up checked fluids and tires then used it to work for HULU hauling extras when they filmed a scene for "The Handmaids Tale". It did 14 hours of service that day. Last Spring, it worked for "Wonder Woman 1984" for two weeks then in May worked several weeks standing by for Congress. Yes, it runs fine. Will you make it home? No guarantees, but a few years ago I drove it to NYC along with the rest of our fleet bringing relief workers from FEMA for hurricane relief. I was the last one out from the FEMA center in Emmittsburg to the docks on Staton Island and the first one back. I trust it. come test drive before you buy but bring cash as you probably will want to take it home. The last two buses from our fleet leaving went to Louisiana- the second one was a referral from the first. Only pay me after you have driven and checked out the bus. If you don"t want it, we shake hands and you go home with your money.
