1986 MAN Truck M1001 10-ton 8x8 with crane and winch
MAN trucks have the MAN D-2840 V10 400hp turbo-diesel engine coupled to the MAN ZF4S-15GP 8-spd transmission and an 8x8 chassis with two steerable axles and rear mounted crane.
The 8x8 MAN Truck was originally commissioned by Ronald Regan to haul the Pershing II missiles around Europe.
Odometer shows 40,000 kilometers. PTO hour meter shows 260hrs. Installed new Michelin military tires. This truck ran great when we parked it, but has not been used in 3 years. It needs new batteries, fuel changed, fuel filters and air filter. This truck is similar to the Oshkosh Hemtt.
