Vehicle description
Selling a Jeep Kaiser M35A2 Multifuel Diesel
First off, let me start out by saying this is one of the nicest crew cabs I"ve ever seen. I believe it looks like what a true M35a2 would look like if the Military would have actually manufactured a 4-door Crew Cab. It is actually symmetrical as far as the vents, tool boxes, steps, ect. This truck was purchased from a farm in rural Tulare County. The Engine tag looks like the year is a 1967. The original dream of this truck has always been to become a 4-door, take you anywhere rig. We have always called it the Ark because my husband was always out there working on it and if anything ever happened to us we knew this truck would save us one way or another. We started with the original truck cab and built off of that using a donor truck cab for the extra doors, steps and original air vents. We removed the third axle and cut the bed down to a shorter version. The overall length is the same as an M35 with its full chassis. A local machine shop built a custom rear driveshaft. The cab, under carriage, bed and engine compartment have been scraped and sanded to as smooth of a surface as possible, giving the fact that it is still a military truck. It has been entirely painted with Rust-Oleum Professional Paint in either black or our custom color of RB Green. The bed and cab floorboard has been covered in Rust-Oleum Truck Bed Liner. The engine is a Turbo Multi-fuel Diesel Engine with crazy low miles and hours. The data plate located on the engine has a stamping indicating it was overhauled in what appears to be 1982. Someone has told me the odometer could have been replaced at that time. This truck is a TRUE multifuel engine. The fuel density compensator is still intact and functional. Any fuel can be used in this beast. (Most M35"s don"t have the fuel density compensator in working order and are bypassed because they do not remanufacture this part). The engine has j ust recently gotten an oil change with new filters. The master cylinder was rebuilt in the last couple months along with the air packs. New break lines and wheel cylinders were installed. We also replaced both the front windshields, frames and gaskets. 2 new batteries were just installed. The bench seats are out of a F-250 and re-cushioned and reupholstered with a water resistant black canvas like material.
