History
Truck originally manufactured by REO, Registration 4C1963 as a M35 for an US Army Engineering Co in North Carolina and was equipped with a gas engine. - Refurbished by AM General in 1971 to M35A1, equipped with a diesel engine. - Refurbished in 1991 to M35A2 by the US Army, painted camo and updated the diesel engine manufactured in 1989. Truck purchased through auction from the North Carolina Army Reserve National Guard in 2000. Refurbished by present owner in 2015 and painted back to Vietnam 1971 OD #24087. Notes : (1) Fuel Density Compensator was by-passed; highly recommend using Diesel Fuel Only. (2) Front axle inner seals and rubber boots replaced 2017. (3) Engine mileage since 1991: 13,134 (As of July 28, 2019). (4) Oil changed and new oil filters July 22, 2019. (5) Includes new brake fluid reservoir kit that can be installed in the cab. It is in addition to standard fluid reservoir. The kit adds more brake fluid and has transparent reservoir. Removes need to check fluid under the cab floor.
