Vintage 1930"s Midget Powered by a Ford V8 60 - Solid Runner. Purchased from the Don Smith Auction in June of 2018. Since then it has been completely torn down and gone thru by Master Mechanic and 5X Indy 500 Starter John Martin Sr. in conjunction with Grant King Racers on the West Side of Indianapolis.
Prior to Don Smith"s ownership it was restored by Dennie Moore. Dennie Moore was a former modified driver and Indy 500 Chief Mechanic for John Zink Racing. Dennie found this frame and body in a barn in Kansas. He purchased it in the 1980"s and took it home to his shop in Tulsa where he restored it. He drove it himself in many vintage races as well.
