Loved and cared for all these years as second owners andwe have tried to maintain/repair/replace/improve with an eye to extendedownership and use. We think this year Lance was built well with goodmaterials and most likely with continued care, can last an awfully long time (esp.if you are lucky enough to have inside or covered storage- we do not, but keptit tarped/covered most of time; run dehumidifier on frequent basis and othermoisture reducing/prevention aids. We have tried to pay close attention towater mitigation including replacing several areas that have gotten water orare susceptible to water ingress* Super comfy for 2-3 people extended trip, lux for 1-2 Features/Info: · 1635Dry Weight (probably added 20-50 pds tothat number) Overall length - 15"5"San · Floorlength – 8’6” · Width– 86” · Height(interior) – 6’6” · Centerof gravity – 46” · Graytank - 11-gal grey · Blacktank - 10-gal · Freshwater tank - 18-gal · Waterheater insulated - 6-gal w/By-pass winterizing valve · LPG tank – holds (1) 5pd in storage bay · 3Way Dometic Refrigerator 3 cu ft (propane, battery or when hooked up toelectric or generato r) (no generator included) · Furnace (Btu) 18m · Coleman Mach 3 Plus Roof Mounted Air Conditioner with heating strip (“New”Reconditioned added in 2018) – low hours. If you do not already haveone, you will need camper kit attachments/mounts specific for your truck where camper can be safely mounted and tied down (Ourtruck was a 2000 Dodge 2500 ¾ ton, outfitted with a Happy Jack System and air shocks- we carried camper, equipment and toweda sailboat no problem for many years). Please note camper dry weight will havechanged due to new materials used over time so exact weight not known. Maybeanother 20-50 pds? *In any maintenance/repair we’ve try to stick to tried and true and, proven new materials, products, andmethods to maintain camper, probably overdone in some instances but we’re also boatpeople, so boat supplies top of list. Camper was inspected locally with system testing in 3/19 (couldn’t bring myself to sell then) and all systems worked! Report included in docs. Biggest item on report was stripping caulk and sealers and cost was in labor so we tackled some of its on our own and it seems to work fine. Will probably need anew refrigerator in near (next few years? Future – This one works but more like an ice box (keeps everything cold but ices up in freezer but no dripping). We last used for 10-day trip with no problem. Some age-related wear -dents/dings, fading of graphics, touchup or repaint needed. There has been some damage, leaks, repairs over the years due to accidents (boat mast went thru entrance door; snagged a branch on roof, several worn places on roof and old window seals. Impacted ceiling, entrance way, dinette wall. Repaired/replaced with new material including new plywood, new “luan” board inside, new “joists” and insulation, water resistant paint and luxury vinyl tile, epoxy, and fiberglass. Applied 2 coats of elastomeric waterproofing sealer over original one-piece aluminum roof; replaced some window seals and clean it/caulk, caulk, caulk it, if it even looks suspicious! Replaced seal around some windows, however, we think there may still be a leak on one window dinette), so we covered with a marine plastic and no issues noticed so far. You may want to inspect/replace but appears to be able to be usable as is until then. Latest damage caused by Hurricane Sally 2020 (105 mph winds) which had her way a bit with lifting camper off pads, planting jacks afoot in new ground about a foot away. This caused some torking of the camper somewhat with right jack to pull away from camper wall and a small breech in back right wall). Right, rear jack definitely out of square and partially pulled away from sidewall. While we closed the breach, repaired with wood and structural epoxy and steel in an effort to make watertight to minimize further damage). We could not pull jack in squarely and reattach as originally done so not sure of structural integrity. This should be inspected more closely with attention to all jack and wall connections. Other than the above, she came through like a champ. In no small measure due to the Tech Paulin tarp, a multi-layer axis Oriented X cross laminated film (MOX) which was covering camper and screw anchored to the ground. I think it kept the camper from flying away, literally and, with only minor damage to the tarp in winds120 mph, breaking trees, and squalling rain. Also, it helps to keep the camper protected from our Florida environment. Tarp included with sale. Comes equipped with everything you see in pics (decorations, artwork cookware, plates, kitchenware, linen/blanket, pillows, coverlet etc. Will probably include other items which may not be listed. (Of course, you don’t have to take any items included/offered). Obviously, I Love, love this camper – it’s cozy and snug, serene and a hug you all around space. camper, tiny guest house and nap/quiet time getaway and shamefully, storage. But we are in 70s and 80s, our little items of affection require maintenance and upkeep. (It’s a camper, it moves/flexes, water’s coming in) That effort is now best reserved for the two of us and our 80-year-old house (which we also love beyond practicality but its paradise, so). We have sold off hubby’s loves (2 sailboats and a corvette and replaced with a full knee replacement for him, yay)and now it my turn to let go my little refuge, to a new home and peeps. Have tried to include all relevant information and pics to show different angles, condition, and overall history of unit. She’s old (in camper years) but ready still for new adventures. SOLD AS IS so please ask questions, request more pics What would I do if I kept (in next year or two: Replace caulking and window seals; New fridge; Replace water lines (original);Paint walls and cabinets, maybe change counter; add more storage Replace propane line; Replace seals around windows; Install Fantastic Fan in bath; New beautiful wood tabletop Please check out Lance sites and You Tube camper sites like Covet the Camper and K&J Adventures ( everything you need to know about campers and gross weight, etc.) – Tons of info and great ideas!
