1999 Kenworth W900 12.7 Detroit 60 Series (pre EGR) - RECENT OVERHAUL WITH PAPERWORK 13 Speed Transmission. I bought this truck in 2016, planning to use it to get around the upcoming ELD mandate. All of our drivers wanted it, so it went on the road pretty quickly. In late 2017, we had to do a complete overhaul, and we have the paperwork on that. We replaced many other things like the Turbo, Transmission (used), Clutch, AC system, various suspension parts, but I don"t see the sense of listing all of it because 20 year old trucks goes through parts. Luckily, the drive train should be good for year to come. Turbo kicks in quick and truck feels like it has lots of power. There is less than 100K on the overhaul. We just haven"t had a driver for it, and it"s been sitting. This is the perfect truck for an owner op that likes paper logs, or a company that wants to recruit drivers that like these trucks. Truck is in Memphis, TN and available for inspection and or test drive. Since this is a used truck, it is sold "as is" with no warranty implied, but we would like to give any interested party the opportunity to inspect it so you can bid with confidence. These trucks seem to be holding their value very well, so if you take care of it and keep it maintained you could probably sell it for the exact same thing you paid for it in 5 years.
