This is a reconditioned USMC RECON Motorcycle of the type used in the Gulf Wars. Gasoline powered. This bike has sat dormant for about 3 years. The rear tire is flat and weather checked and probably not usable. Front tire looks OK. As shown it has 562 miles on it. The gas smells rancid and the entire bike will have to be checked over I"m sure. It has been covered with a tarp these last few years. The original owner rode this in several parades and it was one of the favorites in his collection of military equipment. The special trailer is included in this sale. It is an M-762 Flat bed with overhaul at USMC Logistics Base, Barstow, Calif. in 3/85 and this is the basic chassis for the M-416 1/4 ton trailer. It includes the ramp for the off loading of the bike and a gas can rack. Also note that it has two lockable ammo cans mounted forward which hold tie down straps,etc. The trailer also has a spare tire mounted under the rear deck. All lighting on trailer is 12 volts. Military lunette ring for towing requires a pintel style towing hook. These are built up from parts of several bikes and trailers that were purchased at auction, Barstow / Yermo, CA. Sold for parts, no titles or government releases available as they were bought in a lot as salvage. Last one available in complete condition. Data plate is intact but not shown for security reasons.
