Vehicle description
1952 Willy"s M38A1 Jeep. Serial number MB20649. (# 20,649 built; approx. Sept 1952) Started with full, off frame restoration . Blasted to bare metal, primed with etching paint then painted exterior with desert tan (mil spec) paint and undercoated frame, chasis and all under side parts.
All wearable parts replaced or restored to OEM spec .
Original Hurricane engine in good condition. New water pump, hoses, belts, fluids, gaskets etc.
Added roll bar, 9600 winch, pintel/ ball combo hitch, new upholstry, wide wheels, bikini top
Restoration completion needs chassis wiring( parts included) assemble of ventilation lines ( parts included) Includes most fording options but need assembled.12v conversion started but not 100% complete
Jeep was running fine when restoration started. Has aftermarket carb installed with OEM (Carter YS950) carb included but not installed. Front winch attached but not wired .
Clear Texas title .
Just lost interest and has been in storage the last 9 months.
