For sale: previously used bus for summer and after school martial arts program
Reason for sale: School closing down - Current owner purchased bus used in 2011 - Had AAMCO rebuild transmission and torque converter in 2017 ($2300) - Replaced fuel injectors in 2017 ($2000) - The graphic wrap was placed on it in 2011 ($4000) (still has a few years of life left, but showing wear in many places. Could be touched up to preserve longer)
- Owner self painted yellow paint area using 2k primer with commercial truck paint in 2017 - Rust free, located in Texas! - Will pass DOT commercial inspection - 72 passenger - Air brakes - Good tires - 163K miles - Rebuilt Radiator 2016 - Front shocks replaced 2016 - Have push button bypass plug installed to bypass cranking issue in 50 degree or under weather. You can use the key anytime unless it gets too cold outside. Otherwise, use the push button to bypass straight to starter. - Dashboard intermittently works, need to send in to dashboard repair shop - Needs swinging door handle fixed Have questions call me: (if we miss call and don"t answer, will call you right back if you leave a message or text!)
This bus cranks right up and runs very strong, and would be considered dependable. It was used daily for around 9 years, Mon thru Fri (mid Aug to May only) to drive a 6-8 mile circle route picking up about 25 kids. It sat in the parking lot each summer and was driven one week each summer for about 50 miles for summer camp. So owner would consider this light annual usage, perfect use for an older bus to drive less miles and keep her in good running condition.
