Vehicle description

OK Go take a ride on the "Wayback Machine". 1971 Time Capsule survivor. Not perfect but pretty darn good. Texas "Ranch Find". This 48 year old trailer was cutting edge opulence in it"s hey day. What is remarkable is that all the "bits" are there down to the factory installed temperature gauge and all the badges. She will need some work but here is part of the heavy lifting that has been done. At some juncture the rear roof vent was lift open and water seeped in to the bathroom floor area and damaging the sub-floor. All of that has been removed, reinforced and new floor decking installed. On the front of the trailer exterior the top corners and been pushed in by apparently pulling the trailer under too low of a covering. So those sections have been recreated, water sealed and installed on both forward corners (as you can see in the pictures). They were drilled and riveted to replicate the original design. All new tires on the ground with the original hubcaps. .no small feat. The exterior has buffed down and treated (not polished) and the exterior roof was cleaned and coated with new roofing sealant. All glass is good with the exception of one window slat on the left side vent window which is cracked but in place.
Systems: All of it is there. .oven, fridge, cook top, vent hood, water heater, roof a/c, water tank, shower etc. What we don"t know is what does, or does not work, or what it will take to return it to serviceable condition. We will leave that to the preference of the new owner. I doubt the ac unit works. Original shag carpet and front factory sofa is there. We decked over the sleeping berths and have new mattresses on order (fit to size). The overall electrical and wiring condition needs to be evaluated for safety/repairs. Interior headliner panels are all in remarkable , undamaged, condition. A rare thing. Exterior shell in very good condition with a few dumps and scrapes and a bit of possible light hail (shallow and limited). But as the photos convey she is really in sound condition and is "unmolested" over the years.
