My wife & I have lived full-time in this wonderful bus for over a year now. We converted it in the summer of 2017, and have travelled all the way to the west coast, and through the Rocky Mountains in our home state of Colorado.
We"re selling the bus because we have a job opportunity in Maui, HI and can"t bring our tiny home on wheels with us.
Alright let"s get into the details. .
1995 7.3L International Turbo Diesel - 5 window Thomas bus body. 227,000 miles. The engine runs strong, there is one minor mechanical issue or quirk as we like to think of it.
One minor mechanical issue: We believe the electric brake motor is either wearing out or full of fluid because the brake pedal sticks. This is not something that has kept us from driving the bus whatsoever, we just ensure the break pedal is fully depressed after every use, and have no problems with that.
The only other issue is that the wind shield on the passenger side has a crack through it - we"ve had it quoted at around $150 to get this replaced in Fort Collins, CO.
The bus will include: - 500W solar setup with 1100W power inverter (plenty of power! ) - 2x 125aH 12V battery bank - 130L 60W TruckFridge - 5x 5gallon water jugs - 2x 6gallon water jugs - 1 5gallon dirty water jug (underneath sink) - DC 60W water pump - Sink faucet for running water - Two burner CampChef Oven & Stovetop - New convertible futon/bed - Haloview 720p reverse camera
We"re eager to see who the new buyer ends up being, you"ll love this tiny home, it"s been great to us. We just moved out of this a week ago, so it"s full move-in ready.
Happy bidding!
