This unusual "BEST OFFER " Listing is for a VERY RARE original, 1986 U.S. MILITARY "SPECIAL FORCES" ARMY HONDA XR250R Motorcycle, with clear Indiana title. This bike was used by U.S. military Special Forces in the First Gulf War as a Scout vehicle and, I understand as mobile field surveillance drone controller radio repeater/retrans platform. It is still fitted with original radio/antenna mounts and special military D.C. power switches for the radio equipment. (radios not included) The military removed the headlight, however an LED headlight could easily be installed making this bike street legal. The original tail light is still installed and is functional. This bike has been displayed in a military museum since 2002. It starts easily, runs and rides great. The fuel tank is clean. It"s seat shows typical wear with a couple of small tears. See photos for details. The speedometer is not equipped, from the factory, with an odometer so total mileage is unknown, however it"s tires are original and show little wear. This bike would make a desirable and rarely seen accessory mounted across the rear bumper on the back of a military HMMWV / HUMMER. Please see several sample photos of military Special Forces motorcycles being carried on the rear of HMMWV"s. (Most commonly seen are KLR250"s / M1030"s) Occasionally you"ll see Kawasaki M1030"s offered for sale, but you will rarely find a U.S. Military contract Honda XR250s such as these.
