Vehicle description
Pickup in Lehigh Valley, PA or shipping to be paid by buyer. Turret is fully functional!- - WHAT"S BEEN DONE / REPLACED- -A2 steering wheel, new TDM & Cadillac solenoid, new ball joints, steering shaft, lower U-joint, driver side A-beam body mount, all body mounts evaluated for proper torque & wear. All half shaft bolts were inspected and tightened to spec. Left rear half shaft retaining bolt in geared hub replaced. Lower steering pump hose claims tightened, alternator bolts tightened, 14V stud on alternator was connected to rear battery to prevent imbalance. New mid battery cable, the old PCB and GPC were replaced with modern ESS/TSU setup, half shaft bolts and washers replaced with current Nordlock & 15Mmm hardened metric bolts torqued to spec. LED added to dash cluster. Grounded harness was added. Four steering arm covers were opened to evaluate spindle nut retaining tabs and were replaced. Glow plugs all inspected. Wiring is included for bull horn as well. Seat covers are crappy, but I have replacements to include. Duramax lining has been put on the interior to reduce noise/vibration when driving the truck. Has keyed ignition w/ one key & doors have their own separate keys. - -WHAT YOU MAY WANT TO DO - -Doors are a slightly different color tan compared to the body. Obviously, the slant back & turret are camo green. I never put in the seatbelts required once you add a slant back, so the back seats need the old belts fastened in some way OR buy the slant back seat belts. The rear hatch seal leaks if it rains (but they all do.) The starter will stick if you leave it outside in really cold temperatures, thus is takes a few cranks to turn over. Otherwise, starts no problem. The brush guard is missing some cotter pins, but those cost nothing. The backup camera screen needs to be mounted somewhere (if you care.) The heater on the passenger side needs the flexible ducting, although it heats the truck just fine. The windshield wiper fluid pump needs to be replaced. Also, there"s 4 vinyl covered black ceiling pads & one needs replacement (the vinyl has come off and it just looks like foam up there in the one area.)I bought this truck about 2 years ago & put around 600 miles on it in that time w/ local trips. It"s a total blast, but we have a growing family and don"t have room for this thing in the driveway anymore.
