Vehicle description
In excellent condition!Camper Toy Hauler Trailer for sale.
We recently purchased a permanent camp and have decided to sell our Toy Hauler. * * PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD* * We purchased this camper new, in April 2020, as a leftover 2018 model. Due to my work schedule we were only able to camp in it 3 weekends total, twice last year and once this year. Mostly, it served as a garage for our ATVs.
Everything works as it should, no leaks, no water damage. This toy hauler is set up with an open floor plan (see the last photo), which allows more than one ATV to fit: we parked both our Honda Pioneer side-by-side and a Honda Recon inside. Most toy haulers only fit one ATV, we searched for a long time for the right floor plan that fit our two ATV"s. The garage will fit two quads, or one quad and one smaller side-by-side (like our Pioneer or a 50" Polaris RZR"). It may also fit larger side-by-sides, see the measurements at the bottom of the ad. This camper does have one rare option that sets it apart from most other campers in this class: it has 2batteries, and a 1000-watt inverter. The inverter gives you AC power even when not running off shore power or a generator. Some boondocking parks don"t allow running a generator overnight, which if you don"t have a power inverter means no cell phone charging, or in our case no CPAP machine running. The inverter and extra deep-cycle battery package was a $1200+ dealer installed option. The list of features is long: power stabilizing jacks, aluminum siding, 2 20lb propane tanks, power tongue jack, 17" power awning with under-awning LED lights, under-chassis lights, d-ring tie-downs, waterproof vinyl tile floor throughout, power bath fan, thermostat-controlled 13k BTU A/C & 30k BTU furnace (makes 3 season camping possible), queen bed in the front bedroom & 2 sofa-beds (sleeps 4),large 2-way refrigerator, microwave, 3-burner stove and oven (which is still new, we never used it), double sink, quick-recovery propane/electric combo hot water tank, bathroom with shower and commode, rear ramp (measurements below)with pull-down bug screen, under-bed storage, outside storage, an exterior AC outlet, an outdoor shower, and probably other stuff I am forgetting. It"s pre-wired for TV"s and has a roof-mounted antenna, but we never installed TVs. There is a am/fm/cd stereo with interior and exterior speakers that I tested but we never used, and it works well. It is easily 1/2 ton towable at about 5,300 lbs dry weight and 10k GVWR.
The trailer is about 30" long and 8" wide.
Included in the sale is a weight distribution anti-sway hitch. It is very easy to tow with this set-up, even loaded with the 2 ATV"s and full 42 gallon fresh water tank. We towed it with a2020 Toyota Tundra. We are going to miss this trailer, and having a toy hauler in general. It"s a great set-up for a couple or small family. It worked great for us for the 3 weekends we used it, boondocking and riding the trails in the Allegheny National Forest. What we found is a toy hauler makes a great home-base for riding, much better than a typical atv trailer, even if not camping. It"s nice to come back to a cool trailer with the a/c running, use your own restroom, take a shower, maybe a nap. Grab a bite to eat and head back out. This is our second toy hauler - we had our other one for years, but life happens and we don"t have the time to ride like in the past. We planned to take it to the Hatfield and McCoy trails in WV but just never could find the time. The furthest this trailer was ever towed was the 75 miles home from the dealer.
One other thing a toy hauler is great for is actual hauling. With our last toy hauler, we moved 3 kids in and out of college and eventually into their own places. In this crazy market, used2018 261P TH models are still retailing for right around what we paid new last year, about $21,000. MSRP new (without options) was $25,691. We are asking what we feel is a reasonable off-season price of $17,950, and we"re open to offers. We have the clean PA title in hand. This site has more info and specs (full dimensions, tank sizes, etc): www.rvguide.com/specs/heartland/toy-hauler/2018/prowler/261p-th.html Sorry about the long post, and thanks for reading this far. 2018 Heartland Prowler 261PTH toy hauler camper trailer. $17,950, sold as-is, whereis.
The trailer is available for an on-site inspection at any time during the sale. Please conduct your due diligence, arrange for an in-person inspection, and ask all questions, prior to purchase. All sales are final. The camper is not yet winterized, and is parked in NW PA, about 85 miles north of Pittsburgh.
Pick up and title transfer should be completed with 14 days of sale. Unless prior arrangements are made, the deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited if the sale is not completed within 14 days, at which time the buyer relinquishes all rights and the camper will be re-listed for sale. The sale is considered complete when the title is transferred and/or full payment is made. Beginning 30 days after completion of the sale, if the camper is not delivered or picked up, parking fees of $5 per day will be assessed. I can deliver the camper, after full payment is made, for $1 per loaded mile. Seller will use normal and reasonable care during transport and delivery. BUYER ASSUMES ALL RISK OFTRANSPORT AND DELIVERY regardless of the transport or delivery method. Ramp door and garage measurements: The ramp door is 73" high and 70" wide. The garage area is wider and taller than the ramp, but the ATV width is constrained by the 70" door width and 73" door height. Also, the camper has overhead cabinets in the garage. .which makes the space towards the ceiling more narrow than the floor. Starting at about 63", the garage is only 60" wide due to the overhead cabinets. In other words, if your roll cage tapers in towards the top, to less than 60", a 64" ATV may fit. If the roll cage is the same width as the ATV all the way up to the top and your roll cage is taller than63", the max width is then 60". . and 60" would be very tight. If your roll cage is shorter than 63", then the cabinets aren"t in the way and a typical 64" side-by-side will fit easily. Make sure to measure the overall height of your ATV too, it can"t be taller than 73", regardless of width. All that said, two regular quad atv"s will fit in this camper with room to spare, as will one small side-by-side, and one quad.
Last note: I have 2 Honda2000i generators that I may sell with this camper. Inquire for details.
