please read the entire listing, ask all questions before bidding, do not bid if you do not have the funds, the plane is in good flying condition but due to the age (almost 48 years) plane is sold as is where is, however pre-buy inspections and test flights are of course welcome, its a flying in annual aircraft, current static and transponder check, last flown a couple of days ago
1970 fast, well maintained, well flying Grumman / American Aviation AA1 Yankee. The plane flies well I flew it to tha Bahamas a couple of weeks ago, and across the USA last summer, the bidding starts at only $15999 with no reserve, it get up to 135mph on just 5-6gph, empty weight 1029lbs, MTOW 1500lbs max usable fuel 128lbs (22 US Gal), keep in mind this plane is for two standard adults if you are considerable over the the FAA standard weight you can fly with a slim girl, but not recommended if you regular fly with 2 heavy guys (but you would have the same problem with the most 2 seat aircraft like Cessna 150, Piper Tomahawk, Aircoupe etc. )

very low time only approx 2678h (will go up, flown regulary) Engine Lycoming O235 approx 1388h (recommended TBO 2400h) (will go up, flown regulary) capable to run on 87 octane autofuel (even saves more money) compression on last check a couple of weeks ago all 70+, engine was last major overhauled (zero timed) in 1997 next annual is due 7/2018 wide cabin 41" compared to the 38" on a Cessna 150
new or overhauled 2017 magneto, #3 cylinder o-rings on brakes in b2016 new battery

Exterior: the exterior looks decent as seen in the pictures, windshield and canopy are in good shape
Interior: the interior is dated, seats has stains but no rips or tears see pics

important note the plane flies pretty fast for just 108HP, if you never flew on before or you are a low time pilot, it is strongly recommended to take a coupe of hours with an instructor (available on the field for a little fee), plane is located at KFMY Fort Myers Page Field, next major airport is RSW
A deposit of $500 is due within 24 h, the balance is due on pickup / delivery but not later than 14 days after the auction delivery for expenses only within the continental USA, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean available (expected delivery expenses have to be paid in advance) the purchase might be subject to local sales tax or VAT which is not included (please check with you"re local taxing authorities of the state or county you are residing)
